Here is an excellent video by Jake and Ana White that teaches us how to make a simple, yet extremely sturdy shelving project for any garage or shed

Posted by admin on

The garage shelving in Jake’s video took about one hour for him to make and the reason he loves that particular design so much is that it only costs ten dollars a linear foot to build. The shelves are perfect for stacking bulky garage items but also this same shelving could go into a smaller space such as a pantry and you could dress it up with a coat of paint or varnish. There is no better feeling in the world than getting organized. I am the most guilty of putting off organizing your space, but that feeling you get when it is all done and your things are in order is the greatest feeling in the world.
Materials: 2x4s (as many as you need, depending on how large your shelves are going to be) A circular saw Hammer Nails Measuring tape A square A carpenters pencil Directions:
In this video, you will learn how to measure your wall and mount your 2x4s, then you will construct the outer portion of the unit and brace it in between.

Then, you will be guided step by step on how to cut your plywood and make your shelf floors.

This is the easiest and the cheapest shelving tutorial I have ever found, I can’t wait to make it!
